Photographing children, particularly babies, is quite a difficult task and you have to be quick off the mark and fairly patient. I think remaining calm and composed
is very important when photographing little ones as they need to see you are in control but also that you are relaxed. If you’re reasonably laid-back and stress-free
then your subject will be.
I feel that my pictures benefit from my easy going nature and the more you can put your subject at ease the better. When photographing babies and small children
it's not only very tricky to formally pose them but often natural shots of children are the most effective and capture the essence of the children resulting in some
beautiful and precious images parents can treasure forever.
